Our partner, the German Ovarian Cancer Foundation, has been committed to intensive, improved education and increasing the quality of life for patients with ovarian cancer since its founding in 2010. Through diverse campaigns and events, patient-relevant topics such as treatment options, aftercare, and quality of life are highlighted.

The foundation also offers educational tours across Germany, such as the “BRCA Info Tour” focusing on genetic aspects of ovarian cancer, or complementary options like art therapies as part of the “Creative Tour”. In addition, the German Ovarian Cancer Foundation supports clinical research, such as the long-term study “Carolin meets Hanna”. In recent years, treatment outcomes for ovarian cancer have significantly improved based on studies, yet the long-term outcomes for women with ovarian cancer remain unsatisfactory. The Ovarian Cancer Foundation works to systematically promote innovative research projects on tumor biology, diagnostics, therapy, and aftercare.
